Default Allright, time has come to start ordering parts for my Z. Need help/advice

If I have posted in the wrong section, I apologize. All the things I'm about to ask you guys have been asked quite a few times but I want to make sure I order parts right the first time. So bare with me.

I own a 2004 Chrome Silver 350z Touring Model 6MT. I got the car this past summer and I decided to wait till winter to start my modding process.

I'm thinking of starting with few basic things such as wheels, brakes, exhaust, front bumper and other minor things. I have spent hours and hours looking through all the media pages on this site and few other trying to get a idea of the color scheme I want my wheels/bumper parts to be but I'm still not decided yet. Hopefully you guys can give me a advice.

Exhaust: I've been listening to a lot of youtube videos and have like Borla quite a bit.

Brakes - I really can't afford to spend 3-4k on BBK since I have other things to buy as well and college student budget sucks! I found a nice deal on Concept Z performance for Rotors/hawk pads/steel line for $600ish... Anyone ever bought these and have any input?

Wheels: As far as wheels go, I am totally undecided.. I cant decide If i want chrome look or Volk te37 look.... I need a lot of help from you guys as to which rims do you think would look good on Chrome Silver Z and if you have any pics to show, that will help too.. I have already checked the media section for Chrome Silver, like a few but nothing decisive.\

Front Bumper: I'm sort of decided on Nismo v2 bumper. If you guys any other suggestions, please post.. As for side skirts and other visual body kit mods, I'm open to suggestions.

Thanks and again I'm sorry about asking same questions again!!!

Focus on one area of the car at a time if your on a budget, otherwise you will have a half *** Z!!! Dont waste your cash on brake parts unless they are worn out.
Take your time, do research, and always look for deals!
I'm selling a nice set of Volks if your interested in wheels/tires.

What do you want to do with your car once it's modified?

Drag, road race, autocross, drift, canyon runs, etc etc.

Many sports have different class rules. One "wrong" modification can put in a class you might not want to be in.

Thanks for replying. At this time, my main goal is just daily use.. I'm not looking to auto cross or anything with my car. As far as my brakes go, I will have to replace them before taking my car out for next summer, they are quite low on life

Just get some good pads then. Hawk HPS pads don't have as much bite as stock pads, but they are rotor friendly, quiet, and don't dust as much as stock. They also seem to take a little more heat than stock too.

I would consider suspension mods before HP mods. For DD purposes, a modest "drop" will probably work well aesthetically with some aftermarket wheels. And if you do it right, (good coilovers or good spring/shock combo) you can improve handling while you're at it.

Also keep an eye on wheel weights. I know it's not the primary concern for a DD car, but if you can find wheels you like without adding unnecessary extra rotation mass, it will be a win/win.

What do you guys think of TE37's in Titanium Gunmetal? I think that might go good with Chrome Silver Z.. Any thoughts?

your second step really should be setting a budget as you can probably tell, prices are going to range from cheap to very expensive

Wheels, tires and suspension make the biggest difference is looks and feel IMO, start there.
