Default Looking at Used 350

Hey guys, I currently own a Civic Si Sedan but I found a 350Z 1 1/2 hours from where I live. I want to check it out and test drive it but is there anything specific I should be looking at other than the recall? It's an 07 with 50k miles. Thanks in advance.

Yup you should look at your wallet and ask yourself "can I afford to mod this car like I could my civic?" if the answer is yes than proceed to buy the car. Good luck

Are you sure you're not looking for a new 350?

1. Check insurance rates
2. Calculate gas (estimate 15 MPG with a very light foot and half and half [city/highway] driving)
3. Do total cost of ownership calculations per month (Payment, Insurance, Gas, Synthetic Oil, Brakes, Tires, etc)... my guess is it will be double your Civic.

I get 26+ mpg in my Z.... approximately 450 miles to a full tank of gas.

1. Good advice.
2. 15MPG combined is really bad for a stock Z.
3. More good advice

So do I when I am cruising on the freeway (28-30 mpg)... it is relative to where you live and how you commute. If you sit in traffic for 150 miles and freeway it for 150 miles my guess is you will be between 15-19 depending how you drive.

No, I haven't been looking for 3 years, I was undecided back then and I joined my350z.com. surprisingly my login still worked.

A for as maintenance goes, not too different from my Si.
I chose the Si because I wanted a new car and it just seemed like a good fit, Now, 3 years later I feel like its time for an upgrade and get a 350. I was randomly searching online and found an 07 for a good price so I want to check it out soon. Just asking what things I should look for....

City driving, and I got around 21 mpg when I had my Z.

Drive it.
You'll buy it.

Deal with the rest.
We have not regretted a day that we have had this car.

Do you always keep it pegged at 6000 rpm?

I drive aggressively and never get lower than 18 avg
