06 touring.... 3k-4k to spend..
So I just picked up my 06 Z and am loving the car, but I didn't buy it with the intentions of keep it stock (go figure) I have 3k-4k to spend on some initial upgrades, just to get things started. I'm thinking that down the road I may want to go to F/I but am still not too sure about it so for now I think im just gonna stick to N/A. Where do you guys think I should start?

depending what you want you can approach this a number of different ways with only 3-4k.
if you want looks = coilovers, camber arms, bodykit/lip kit or wheels and coilovers
if you want some power = bolt ons like exhaust, intake, TP/HFC's, and a tune
be sure to check the marketplace first for new/used parts

Save up for F/I. Your only a few grand a way from purchasing one of the most expensive mods for the Z.

Fixed and still shy of what is needed.
I would start with a Wheels, diff , radiator and a spacer. Then play with it and the track.

^That is the best advice since sliced bread. If it's already paid off, suspension would be my next step.

Pay it off
Wheels
Suspension
Exhaust if you want, I love the tone of the stock exhaust so I kept it, but I did put in a cold air intake and plenum spacer and test pipes to make it louder and deeper. These are relatively cheap mods. 1 or 2 hundred each if you install yourself.
Since you have money to invest, put aside a couple bucks for a stubby antenna if you don't have one already.
Check out mangowalk on ebay, fits perfectly and great reception.

Wheels, suspension, and LSD. Learn the car and have fun with it, at the track of course.

It is also supporting mods to FI, 4 years now and my car is still NA. I am getting closer to having everything else finished in preperation for FI.
Chances are i will end up with a pissed off NA car in the end.

I guess I'm looking more towards bolt ons and internals instead of wheels and suspension... I already got some wheels coming from a friend....

I'm on the same boat; getting everything prepped for an FI build.

Then focus on getting suspension and an LSD. Whatever money is left over, allot that into bolt ons.
