Homelink and X-10

Does anybody out there who's taken delivery use any X-10 products, and tried the homelink transmitter that comes with the Z???

I'm a huge fan of X-10 and have 90% of all my lights and all HVAC equipment in my house under X-10 control and I'm curious what you can do with the homelink transmitter.

You can train any of the three buttons with any RF signal from X-10 remotes, garage door openers, etc. So besides your garage door button, you can control any two other of your favorite X-10 devices (provided the receivers are in range).

I also have a lot of X-10 controllers, but I don't use the homelink transmitter in the Z or my other car for anything but the garage door. I can't think of a good application. Maybe turn on a light or something? (I already have a motion light over the garage entrance so I don't need that.)

If the homelink provides the ability to send any X-10 code. That is great news. I'm currently using HomeSeer which is a pc based X-10 controller. So by just recieving a single code you can run a macro that will execute multiple X-10 signals at once. You can download a free demo verison if interested.
