Unhappy Who got it worst (snow)?!

I vote me! 3-3.5 hours to dig it out. About 2 feet of snow for 3-4 feet behind the car and on every side. Just got it before Thanksgiving. Welcome to New England! Too tired after digging it out to take after pics...

I didn't have it all THAT bad here in New Jersey, but I work a 12 hr shift and have an 85 miles drive to and from work. Instead of driving home, and back again the next morning, my company put me up in the local Marriot for the night.

Yeah that looks slightly worse then me. If he is in central MA then they always get more. I didn't even try to move it (still on RE040's) just started it up to try and melt the snow in the tailpipes. My spot is also slightly downhill. Not a good combo... And yes the auto window down got stuck. Hopefully its in the fully up position right now!

Only rust I am worried about is on the rotors. Modern cars won't rust unless they have body damage. Anything I can use to keep rust off the rotors? I may not get to drive it this week since will only be warm for one day and I don't wanna subject it to highway salt.

Not this time, jhchan...we only got a measly 15 inches.

Tried the Sno-Brum we were talking about for the first time today, by the way. Works like a charm.

I never got to order the sno-brum. I looked at Walmart and Autozone and didn't find it in time. I may order one for the next go around. But I realized if your car has dirt on it anyway you're just pushing that snow around with the dirt under it which will be what is scratching your car. I tried to use the Cali duster on it before the snow came but I think it was too cold and the dirt and dust turned to mush with the condensation. There was a frozen layer on the car which I just left (got the big surface snow off). Hopefully it will just melt off by mid week.

Wow and people think we get a lot of snow in Canada!
Here on the west coast... Current temp. 4.9C/40.8F
Looks like rain. No snow in the forecast.

Last year we got about 1/8" of snow on Christmas day.

Those pics look painful.

Mine's stashed till the robins come back. Just dug out of more than 16" and I'll be driving my 98 Protege with 136,000 miles on it for the winter or till it breaks.

http://f1.pg.photos.yahoo.com/ph/jhc...08_Horror2.jpg

In case you couldn't tell. Thats the top of my Z with a huge dump truck on one side and a backhoe on the other. Hey atleast they matched the color of my Z. Nothing I could do but watch. The Z was stuck in its spot anyway (slightly downhill and still snowy/icy).

Man, that's rough. The snow was great, I love big storms like that. I just wished that they actually plowed the streets rather than letting the last few inches just slush up and evaporate off. That really makes it a pain in the *** to walk anywhere

Mine was thankfully in the garage for the storm. NJ is notorious for dropping excess amounts of road salt. We run out every year.

I did spend 6 hours shoveling out an accord, a mustang, and a spot for my dad's police cruiser. NJ only got around 16-18 inches though.
