God snow sucks (1 foot of it is stairing at my Z in the garage)... Haven't been able to drive my DB since Thursday night. Man I'm iching to do 80 around a turn right now! Anyone else have this problem?

Here's what I do to alleviate withdrawal problems.
SegaGT2002. It will keep your mind off the real Z for a couple of hours. Yes, it is going to be a long winter.

Yup, Gran Turismo will have to do until spring. Plus, I like being able to say that I drive a Calsonic Skyline while the Z is in storage too!

I don't know how you guys can do it, I live down south and I get withdrawls even after one nite. Is that a bad thing to be addicted.

I live in Minnesota, boughy my 04 2 and half month ago.
I put on 6500 miles already. Keep in mind that I have a beater and the car hasn't seen snow or rain yet, I only drive it if it's dry.

Maybe it's a good thing that we get snow here, at this rate, I am gonna but over 35000 miles every year.

I'm in MN as well and put the Z up for the winter @ the end of Sept.

Just yesterday I checked on my battery tender and rolled it ahead 6 inches (don't want to flat spot the tires) and sat in it for while.

Winter can't last forever........ right?!

Sunny and beautiful here in Tampa too - - I lived in Ohio for 38 years, I don't miss the snow On the positive side, just think how many miles your not racking up on the odometer :/

I do agree . . .this snow thing sucks. i've only had my Z for 2 months and it's been put away for almost half that time already!

I'm going through withdrawl, but not because of snow. Because some dude decided to run a red light, and hit me, and now my car's been in the shop for 3+ weeks now, with no return date in sight, because of a back-ordered suspension component. *sigh*

I live in Iowa and drive it all year. Just throw on some Blizzaks and you will be amazed at just what a set of snow tires will do in the snow. The stock tires are total Sh$t in the cold and snow, but the Blizzaks will put you in a better position than most vehicles on the road since most use all-season tires and not true winter tires. I am still amazed at how well the car accelerates and brakes with these tires on.

Man, I soooo long for the warm days of spring...

I can't wait to duck out of work early on a friday afternoon, load up the car with my tools, helment and brake pads and start the long drive down to West Virginia to get to Summit Point. I can picture myself cruising down those sweeping, open country 2-lanes with the windows open and warm humid air drifiting into the cabin. Then there will be the reunion with all the track people I haven't seen in 6 months and finally there will be the track itself!

I hate the winter!

My exhaust has been making a screeching sound for the first minute or so upon cold startup. Yesterday I turned her in to the dealer to have a look and inspect some other minor issues. I was away from her for less than 5 minutes and I felt like I had just lost my girlfriend of many years. Today I was driving to work in the Max and saw a chrome silver Z driven by what looked like a damn cute girl. A more perfect vision couldn't have appeared before. Few moments after seeing that, I drove past the dealership where they held her hostage. All morning long was torture... torture!!! I must mention to you all that it has been a little over half a day since I've been Z-less. At the rate I'm going I should be an alc0holic by the end of the evening and a drug addict by lunch time tomorrow. I don't know how you guys do it for over a winter. I guess I am just lucky when it comes to driving my baby during winters since in Texas today it is in the sixties. We get ice usually, not snow, and the ice usually doesn't last more than a week per year.

I was down in Houston a few months ago and it was AWESOME! I was shocked that everyone was so friendly. Having moved from Toronto (unfriendly) to Waterloo (very friendly) about a year ago I was expecting that Houston would have been more like Toronto. I was happy to find that in Houston, people were polite and courteous similar to how people are in Waterloo. I was stunned! I gotta find me a nice Texas girl with a rich Oil Tycoon daddy. Yeah mine has been sleeping for a month now. She'll be hybernating until May. I don't know how I'm going to cope. MrLoutish, did you disconnect the battery when you hooked it up to the tender did you leave it all hooked up and then just attach the tender to the battery posts?
