I bought a 07 350z off the NorthPoint Nissan lot in Little Rock last July. When I bought it (certified by Nissan) it had 24k and change on the odometer. I've had it less than a year and it only has 26k and change on the odometer. Needless to say, I don't drive much and when I do I baby it.
Anyway, last week suddenly I had no clutch at all. I pressed the pedal to the floor but wouldn't engage. Managed to pull over and hit the ebrake to kill the motor. Got it towed after doing a bit of research and finding out there was a slave cylinder recall on that year. All the symptoms matched exactly what was happening with my ride.
Next day Nissan calls and says that the clutch and pressure plate are both completely useless and need replacing. Naturally this is also not covered under warranty due to "normal wear and tear." I've even got an extended warranty that the salesman said would cover crap like this.
I refuse to pay for this and have filed a claim with the regional office. Having a clutch go out with a quarter of a century on the odometer is unacceptable, no matter how the previous driver rode that car. What's worse is that I haven't even gotten to oil change mileage and it shut down on me. If that was an issue that existed before I bought that car it should have been fixed.
No matter who I talk to, I get the same "normal wear and tear" routine and get told it does no use to argue. What the hell do I do here?

Generally speaking, wear items are NOT covered under any sort of warranty, factory or extended. Usually an OEM will cover unreasonable wear (brake pads under 10K miles or something extreme like that), but it is on a case by case basis and at dealership discretion, not warranty per-se. I'm currently a service writer at a honda dealership and clutch/brake warranty is figured at 8K miles, anything more than that requires district manager approval and is considered goodwill.
Sad to say, but you are most likely outta luck.

Make sure they save the parts they replace so you can inspect them for yourself. If the pressure plate is blued and the clutch disk material is worn down, well there you go. The previous owner must have rode the car hard. If the parts are in great shape, then you have a case to take to Nissan corporate and state your case for a refund.

They probably keep a set of really crappy worn-out clutch parts in the back room to show customers like you. Then they rebuild the clutch hydraulics for $15 in parts, leave your hardly-worn clutch in place, and send you on your way with a bill for $800.

Yeah right. They are quoting me $1600 bucks. I understand that wear on that part happens, but it should have been taken care of before selling it as a certified used car on their lot.

They're trying to squeeze more out of you; it's a really common thing. Tell them to replace/rebuild the warrantied part and then go from there. The master/slave cylinders have nothing to do with the clutch/flywheel, so it's not like it's extra labor.

Mention supplying your own parts and watch them tap dance, they want to bend you over for the price on the clutch , disk and flywheel. $1600, and their cost is probably $600 then it is roughly 1/2 hour extra to swap them once the trans is out for the slave cylinder. My dealer swapped my clutch and flywheel for free when they warrentied my trans.

Had the same issue last year on my 2008. Slave cylinder was replaced for free due to the recall. Even got a free rental.
Clutch and pressure plate is a different issue. Not sure why yours needs to be replaced so soon.
