Umm, is this daily driven or tracked?

And it looks like a pretty decent build platform to me.

sounds like a nice build so far you should look for a rear camber kit as wheel for when you put the new wheels on. also a aftermarket plenum or just a spacer. good luck with the build

1.No aem cai's
2.No to the headers as you wont pick up much power for the money
3.No to the apexi stuff
4.No to the pulley kit as it will gain you nothing
Any other questions look into the FI forum

If you go with the turbo, better build it up inside.

Whats the purpose of the car?Drive on the street?Track?
Maybe its just me,but to list a bunch of parts to put on(your list looks like some major$$$)without a clear objective, may be the start of a money pit.Do you need all that
stuff to get the results you want?

I'm in Afghan too and this is my suggestion to you. Figure out what you want your car to do, and then go backwards from there. For example: if you want 500hp, do your research and see what kits, internals, clutch, etc you will need to accomplish that. Save yourself some time and money by using the search function.

Are you sure you want to go FI? Consider you will never get any of the money back you put into it & there are plenty of people that blow up FI VQ motors. Just the fact that you are not building up the motor concerns me thinking you feel you are not taking a risk.

My overall experience is if you are unhappy with the performance of your 350Z, sell it & buy a car with the hp etc you want rather than trying to take a production VQ not built for FI and invest money you will not get back while risking a blown motor.

In the end, it is your money so do what you want.

I totally agree with you!

For me, I came to the conclusion that to get my 350Z the way I really wanted it would take 10K+ in the motor & then risk blowing it up + never get my money back. For me it is simply not worth it. Maybe others can throw money at a car & feel it is worth it to them, not me.

Don't forget to buy an extra Long Block so when this one blows up you have one to swap out quickly and get back on the road.

Boosting a high compression motor is creating a grenade... eventually you will have a problem... do it right (build the block for FI) or don't do it at all.

Here's my 2 cents:

-HKS GT-RS Turbo set up kit - TOO EXPENSIVE, NOT A COMPLETE KIT, OFFROAD ONLY
-AEM Cold Air Intakes - Polished Dual Inlets w/ Heat Shield - DOESNT FIT
-JP Type N Body Kit or JP Fiberglass Body Kit - TRY TO LOOK FOR FRP KITS
-VIS Carbon Fiber Hood - AMS Style - LOOK AT SEIBON

Hope this helps

I Agree with all of the above as well as the NO to Konig rims , AGree w the need for a lower compression built motor, and also a no to the HKS.. its a good kit, but far too expensive for what it is, buy a powerlab single, or buy a JWT twin etc instead.
ON 8.5:1 compression tho..

Don't even plan on the HKS GT-RS kit unless you're ready to shell out 15k just to get it running. I've already been down that road.

you sound like a great candidate for a sikky ls conversion.

likely far less headaches over the term
