So I haven't been on in a while, so this may have been discussed a couple of times previously (if so just give me the link and I'll jump in there). I just checked kbb and I have owned my car coming up on 3 years this fall, and put about 30k miles on it since I have owned it. With all of that the value is estimated approximately 2k less than what I paid for it !!! Holy cow, that is amazing isn't it? I remember I bought my z just a few months before the release of the 370's and the value of my car plummeted...it made my stomach turn that this happened right after I bought it, but the value has actually rose somewhat since then.


Someone explain this to me lol.

 

economy mostly, the Z is a very nice car but used cars in general have gone up. Even note on certain models that are selling for above KBB value

 

You could put a sign in the rear window:

KBB price $25,225.

 

When the new wore off the 370Z and the reality of it's shortcomings sank in, the value the 350Z went up.

 

Kelly blue book is not a good reference to go by because most dealers and insurance company's use Nada
