I also received one and just sent it back yesterday. Seems like there is going to be some progress finally with this case soon.

 

Been kinda quiet in here for awhile. Did anyone else receive a letter or heard anything else about this case moving forward?

 

I'm a new member to this forum, and this is the first I've heard of this issue. I have heard of Z1 Performance, and seen Adam's build online.

Just to clarify the issue here... it seems he was scamming customers, but satisfied just enough orders to keep up the facade? And now he's stuck paying back customers who can prove they were scammed?

yes, I received my victim impact statement from the PO Vigilante (what an awesome freaking name, I hope Adam enjoys the hell out of her). I filled it out and submitted it, I also just called the ADA to make sure she has everything she needs, I'll update later when I hear back from her.

The court page says sentence imposed and the next appearance (11 Apr) is for payment... so I guess we'll see.

 

i received a letter this weekend stating that dipshit was ordered to repay me $6500 and that $5300 of it must be repaid during his 36 month probation period so about $150 a month.... its progress...

 

Is that what he stole? I suppose it's progress but why not keep him on probation until 100% is repaid?

I received a check for $86.97 from the County of Suffolk. What a ****ing joke. This ******* stole $15,000 from me.

I watch American Greed. Many times people are swindled out of hundreds of thousands and get nothing.

On one episode, people lost their houses and were getting under 8 bucks a month.

Thieves suck.

 

They set my restitution at $10k; I receive $86 per month, so I assume the amount I must be repaid during his probation is about $3k.

I'm not too worried about it.. look at it this way, he stole $85K... he's ordered to repay $36K, so a delta of $49K.. now consider how much his expensive lawyer cost hourly, plus court appearances, plus travel time etc (over a two year period and 20+ court appearances)... I am willing to bet he is WELL over $50K in the whole to him... but I'll leave that to Robert to assess.

so at the end of the day he probably would have been better off not hiring a lawyer, avoiding the two convictions, not losing his business, and just simply should have paid everyone back..

so now i just laugh and relish at his own stupidity... BRAVO, WELL DONE, ADAM!!!!!

 

I have also been receiving checks from Adam and the Suffolk County Court. It's also like 80 buck here and there. If they are making Adam pay us back all at the same time I can see why the checks are for as much as they are.
