And then what? Wave your hand like a jedi and place him under your control? Best to let cases like this be taken care of in court, especially if you have an easy chance to win. No sense in trying to intimidate the guy because if he's stiffed this many people he clearly doesn't care.

 

I would guess (maybe I am wrong) the way he is trying to strike deals with people, if you confronted him when he had cash in hand you would get something. It's worth a shot for a 90 minute drive. The problem with going the lawyer/court route is even if you win a judgement (after 12-18 months) what are the chances he is going to pay? Probably slim to none and if he set his business up the proper way LLC, incorporated etc. with a judgment entered against his company his personal assets are unavailable and you won't see a dime.

 

He has no money and any he might have is going to his lawyers. He is not smart, in fact he is not only a liar, but apperantly he is also an idiot, this coming from a good inside source. I would never drive 90 minutes to confront him in the off chance he has $20 on him, in light of the fact that he owes someone several thousand. I doubt any of us will ever get any money but at least Adam will do jail time unable to rip anyone else.

Just got off the phone with Detective Ripp of Suffolk County. He is very helpful, and I would urge anyone that has been a victim to contact him immediately.

Also, I would ask that we have a sticky placed with Detective Ripps's information placed in the form and locked.

Mr Adam Bloom was arrested on Tuesday, 4 August @ 0730 and was subsequently released on his own recognizance.

There are currently 3 cases against him with a total of 5 felonies, 4 D class and 1 E class. There are more charges in the works so the amount of cases will grow. His next court appearance is 17 Sept.

I'm glad to see there is a closure to this forum drama featuring Adam Bloom at Z1 Performance/Auto.

 

Still sad that it came to this (and I was one of the lucky members to get my $ back after a 14 month wait). Back when he had a legit business he was always willing to share quite useful information on the Z platform. But it looks like (hopefully) karma is catching up to him after the last few years.
