I ordered hatch struts from Z1 on the 6th of this month and they were on my doorstep when I came home from work Saturday (after being on back-order). The install took about twenty minutes and they work tremendously. I'm actually having to force the hatch down now, which is nice.

Sorry to hear about others' issues with this vendor, but my sole experience was terrific. Granted, my order was a small one in comparison to what some are spending here.

Simply put, Adam from Z1 Performance should be banned!! I too was misled by his iTrader and was taken for a ride! It's members devotion (dickriding) to shops/vendors that allow them to stay on here and scam members. Due to my last issue with Z1, I lack faith in ANY vendor on this forum! OP sorry about your situation!

There may be an obvious answer to my question, but is there a difference between Z1 Performance, Z1 Auto, or Z1 Motorsports? The thread mentions Z1 Performance but people are talking about both like they are the same..I just order a "z tube" and a pop charger from them today...Paid using PayPal so I have some security. I am also having it shipped to SC so hopefully im not waiting months for a freaking intake.

 

Z1 Motorsports is one of the best vendors out there - if you ordered from Russell, your parts will be to you in about 3-5 days. My vendor of choice - if they have what I am looking for, they get the order regardless of price - i don't even shop to compare. Plus, they support many regional events in a big way, especially ZdayZ, and of course, they put on the Z1 Nationals every year in Carrolton - one of the biggest car shows for Z and G in the country ( although ZdayZ is giving them a run for there money this year - 550 + pre-registered)
This thread is all about Z1 Performance in New York. Would not touch them with a 10 foot pole!

 

whew..good to hear..placed order with Z1 motorsports Sunday and it is going out today. Smooth sailing..also good to know who to avoid in the future..

 

yea z1 motorsports in georgia is legit. ive ordered hoses from them. only thing i wish is that theyd adjust their shipping method and cost to be a bit more cost effective for the customers but thats for a seperate topic.
