Default 5AT 350z to 6MT G35C

Hey guys,
I got an offer today to trade my Z for a G35 that I'm somewhat considering. Anyone here trade from a Z to a G before? I'm mostly interested because its manual and I have an auto. Also, anyone have a clue what kind of wheels are on this G?

Here's my Z:

and here's the pictures the guy with the G sent me:

lol not a problem man I kind of started and ended my own thread anyway. I'm not really looking to get rid of the seats though mine have all of the same features as yours and I love the orange...plus since I'm lookin to change cars soon I think the orange seats could be a selling point...thanks anyway though

Trading for a G would be a bonus depending on what you're looking for. You get 2 extra seats and an actual trunk but you sacrifice some performance because of the length and curb weight.

Yeah I know all of that. I just don't want a crashed one.

Fair enough...but how often is someone going to offer a manual G w/brembos for an auto Z? Probably a good reason to be cautious, so I don't blame you...but I wouldn't necessarily expect someone to come along with the same kind of G that hasn't been crashed and offer a trade unless they planned to do a full tranny swap and build in the Z so they could have a smaller wheelbase/lighter weight etc.

Just my .02.

Good Luck!

Yeah you have to remember I live on Long Island though. This guy lives in NYC which is nothing but stop and go traffic so he was looking to switch to an auto. Happens more than you'd think around here so that didn't concern me too much

Yeah I was disappointed to hear that. I'm dying to get into a 6mt and I could definitely settle for a g35 with brembos. Definitely a good starting point but I'm not trading for a car that was in an accident, especially with the front end

Is it a salvage, if it's just a minor fender bender and no damage to the frame I wouldn't mind, just my opinion though.

He said it was a fender bender but I haven't checked the carfax or anything. I was suspicious because he said he had the entire car repainted because the back bumper had scuffs all over it. Thats common in NYC though but I'd hate for it to be a crappy paint job
