Are you saying you now cancelled the entire order? Your previous post says it was all ready to be shipped?

Z1 Store said it was "all ready to be shipped" several times too over the last 8 months. Thinking the OP is getting tired of waiting. I would have been on a plane from Spain about 4 months ago! Problem now is probably (maybe?) that Z1 is already out the money so OP is kind of stuck.
I ordered several items from Z1 Motorsports this morning - got immediate confirmation of the order and minutes ago that the order is shipping minus an intake filter that is out of stock. Now THAT is how you communicate with a customer!

^ let him answer the question instead of talking on his behalf... If it is ready to ship, it's in bad taste to cancel a special order when it's state side. Then people wonder why no one does special orders from Japan and if they do... It's a kings ransom.

mail by Adam, November 3

I’ve been waiting for my rep to email me written confirmation that everything is now ready for pickup – he was out for the SEMA show

This is what he just wrote to me

“HI Adam – 251-474-K is due next week, all other items are here”

Let me know, as I want to resolve this finally as well

Adam

As long as it takes... If you waited this long, why cancel the order now?

Why? I think a 60-90 DAY wait doesn't mean a 9 MONTH wait. So please, just stop. I can under stand 4 MAYBE 5 months, anything more is just ridiculous on something they make/stock, not even a custom wheel setup.

I waited 9 months for wheels that never came and I canceled my order with them. I was told in Aug they shipped from Japan, never came. Hm what a surprise, I was told this for months. Then all of a sudden the "guy" he buys the wheels from didn't put the order in ( 6 months in ). I wait another 3 months and contacted SSR, well they had no records of my wheels being on order. I just placed a new order recently to find out, the wheels I want are and have been in stock.

Good luck getting your parts, but I would ask for money back.

If he told me my wheels were here, I wouldn't have canceled. But the fact that my wheels were apparently no where to be found, I demanded my money back.

And why do they have to wait until the entire order is ready to ship? Something all that hard about doing what Z1 Motorsports is doing on my order? Ship what you have at least at a minimum. This saga will never end.....

Sounds like Adam is a middle man and not in control here...being jerked around, but when you're in a situation like this...dealing with customer direct..the buck stops on your desk. This is a classic a *fish or cut bait* scenario and, in my humble opinion, bait should have been cut months ago.

They're shipping directly from Japan to you... not Japan to US then to Spain. There's no middle man in that deal.

Common sense 101... ordering parts like this are 100x's more difficult because Z1auto ISN'T sale's rep nor a distributer of Cusco parts. So I'll Barney it down for you, if the distributer doesn't have the part... how the Hell can Adam get our Spanish friend the part? JDM parts come in a container to a distributer then distributed to the shops which then pass them to the consumer. You obviously do not know how things work nor the reputation of the shop in question. I dare say you've never ordered JDM parts so WTF do you know?

OP, I can see why you would be frustrated with the situation. I'm sure Adam is doing all he can within his control to resolve the matter. Unfortunately, there are instances where things just don't go as planned when ordering parts from Japan. It's not an excuse, but unfortunately it does happen and is very frustrating when it does occur.

What i'm wondering is if there is some sort of underlying motive from other posters that have posted in here? They seem to be a bit riled up and taking things up a notch. Past beef or something wth? The OP brought emails/pm's to light on the open forum to get a more prompt response and action from Z1, so let it be. This thread is about the OP's issue with Z1 Performance and not some endorsement or advertisement for another vendor. There's no point in flaming Z1 Performance and then to add insult to injury by pushing other vendors on to the OP.

Already made the switch, I had the some problem you had with Z1 performance. I tried to get a refund several times with no luck, company used to be awesome, not sure what has happened over the last year or so. If they dont have the parts they should not be charging your credit card, not until they are in hand and shipped.
