My cc company said there's a 60 period to file a dispute and get your full refund... once that 60 day is pass, it's hard to get that money back.

Even though I told Adam I would wait til' the end of November before cancelling my order... I filed a dispute this morning.

Nothing against Adam/Z1. He's been great with the communication via PM. Things happen, product wasn't delivered so I pulled out before it was too late.

GL everyone with your ordeal.

Curious as to how long ago you had your last dealings with them...Seems to be at least a couple of vendors whose service has slipped lately. Business can change over the years.....

I'm getting all my parts too... if Z1auto was as bad as you people make it seem, then no one would get their parts.

Always the good with the bad. So calm down. Glad YOU got your parts, when others haven't.

Your using another horrid experience from a vendor that isn't Z1auto on this thread. Lately good vendors have been getting slammed for things that aren't necessarily their fault. If Adam gets jerked around by the supplier and he gives the customer the same ETA he's been given... How is that Z1auto's F-up? Stogey is getting a charge back... That's not the right way of getting your money back when the vendor is in contact with you. People have this retarded way of looking at this situation. Hey are getting my Ferodos or what!

because why is he going to be giving back money and discounts when the profit is barely enough to cover costs of the items and the logistics of everything.

He could be selling stuff made from Taiwan or China as he's make way more money selling these items but he's trying to get you guys quality products.

I am not defending him nor attacking him. I'm just stating that giving discounts and money back is simply not an options for these types of parts. Especially when you take the crappy exchange rate and all the other logistics into account.

You mis understood my original comment then. I DID in fact have a BAD experience with Adam at Z1. I did not and will not advertise another shop in here. But my experience with my wheel order was in fact with Adam at Z1. And if needed, I can explain in a pm or start a thread of my own. I have every PM, Email, and invoice since Jan 7 2011 when I purchased my wheels up until Sept 2011 when I received a refund. We did have a phone convo in June that wasn't recorded but I have nothing to lie from it and explain my situation in an honest way.

Lol, I haven't even thought about my brakes right now. Just decided to take it off the road for the winter. Have a whole bunch to still order and install. But right now I am cleaning out the garage and moving all the BS stuff to the shed and organizing everything ha.

I made a business decision to cancel my order ATM whether if it's right or wrong and you have no say so otherwise... stop it already.

I know Adam/Z1 is well respected and very knowledgeable when it comes to 350z and has helped a lot of members out. That's why I chose to buy from them versus other vendors despite the price variation.

Anywho - this transaction didn't go sour, I will do business with them again. I took it upon myself to cancel the order due to the last PM I receive seemed like the order/batch hasn't arrived or isn't in the process of being shipped when it should've been at my doorstep by now. Due to SEMA which has come and gone... he was/is still waiting on his rep. for updates as to what's going on with the shipment.

Right or wrong is relative and if this was arranged with Adam than its different. Some parts require payment and if you do a charge back the vendor has to absorb the cost of the part... You pay nothing not even a restocking fee. That's not how business is ment to be run.

I'm just another customer Adam dealt with and don't care to know about the process, I just want my stuff when it's promised. Delays happen... I understand and I've given them plenty of time to make up for it. I'm looking out for myself and don't care how a business is meant to be run or who's going to take a loss, that's their job.

I haven't backed out fully yet. I told my cc company I still want the part if it's ready to ship so...

wtf are you talking baout Flo?? If I was running a company and it took my supplier 7 months to send a shipment of shift *****, I would take my business elsewhere, apparently, it wasnt only the shift *****, but other parts as well, it is his fault for choosing that supplier and not keeping his customers happy, idgaf how much you guys wanna defend them, a company that doesnt have a good business ethic, has nothing, they'll just lose all their customers in the end, as for making $50 profit.....I really doubt it, he wouldn't be in business if that was the case, even of that were true, sometimes you have to take a loss in order to be able to keep the customer happy...

I mean really?? 7 months trying to clear customs?? that is a straight lie, and I hate nothing worse than people trying to lie to my face...

To the OP: ask for a refund or wait it out. Honestly, those are really your two choices. If its a rare part, it might be better to wait it out. If you think you can get it faster, and Adam failed to deliver, then ask for a refund. Don't let business get too personal or emotional. Mistakes happen, and as long as the vendor tries to work it out with you, he's still a good vendor in my book.

After reading this thread, I feel bad for Adam and the rest of the crew at Z1, it seems that no matter how hard they try to make things right, there are customers who will never be happy.

Z1 is not trying to make anything right. My freind who is fellow member who I wont mention,is still going through the same crap with Adam now. he ordered a Hatech, fuel pressure regulator and have the Uprev flashed on his ecu. This was in March and he paid him in cash over $2000(BIG MISTAKE) took a little over month to get the ecu back! Mind you I sent my ecu to Dynosty and got my ecs back within (4) days that includes the shipping time. When Adam gave him the Hatech he didn't give him all the parts, that he got a week or so later. He still hasn't got his regulator yet. Adam sends him a text last week asking him if he wants him to ship it or deliver it...is this guy for real it still has not been delivered, mind you the Areomotive fuel pressure regulators can be found on Summitracing,Jegs or anyplace in stock so whats the problem?? There was another member who ordered som rims from him and after a few months he contacted the rim company and they said there was no order placed by Z1, he treated to take Adam to court and got a full refund! His excuses are its not him it's his vendors. Wonder when my friend will get his fuel pressure regulator..tic,toc,tic,toc

but u kno where his shop is? How many times have u been there....

Even if u stopped by to drop it off to him n he wasn't there u kno u could of left it in his office.....

Do u think he didn't answer the bs text because he was fed up with the service thus far?

N Wat happened to a follow up call cause a company that uses text messaging to conduct business is not a company I wanna do business with!

Who does that?

Also, pretty lame excuse with Mike/graffkid wheel situation... .

Glad he got his money back...

No offense z 1 but if ur shop is going thru changes don't blame it on other PPL man up n take it on the chin!

I bet if u were honest with ALL ur customers threads like this wouldn't be started....

I give u guys credit for running a business but customer service is number 1 when that gets shotty all credit goes out the window....

I text him because 9 times out of 10, that's how he has always communicated with me. I didn't know if it was ok to ship there because not every job allows that. That's why I asked him last week. I dont want to leave parts with someone else and then have something then go wrong - so I texted him, he didnt get back to me, I called him this morning and texted him, he called me back, and it's being shipped to his job at his request
