i was just looking at that huge 15 foot Z banner
the phrase on it is very catchy...but its kinda false advertisement
all i know is that if someone came on this forum saying that their stock Z is flying by Porsches people would pull up the BS flag
if i was a porsche owner i would look at it..and laugh
its kind of a bad representation isnt it?

A Z advertising banner from it's launch.
Said 'Places to go, Porsches to Pass'
The car does, infact, pass the boxter and on a track can take out a targa and some others. So technically we can pass Porsches. But I think, more than anything, it was just catchy and most people know it's generally not true.

hehe let the boxster forums get a hole of it; then show them that video of the S2k, 350z, M3 and boxster. it was a 3 car race; the porsche couldnt keep up at ALL. and it was probably the most expensive car there except maybe the M3.
I bet a boxster S wouldnt have faired too much better either; and at only 2 times the cost of a base Z.
