No, you were being a jerk. There are enough 6MT elitists here spouting off nonsense about how inferior the 5AT is, when in fact very little is lost between the two. Besides, your response had absolutely nothing to do with the question the original poster asked, which was a comparison of wheel HP between the two transmissions.

The 5AT isn't a fake anything. It's an automatic transmission with a manual MODE. Nobody, including Nissan, claims it's anything else but that.

hmmm

the is300 has a MUCH slower gear shifts if u do manual mode


i've read this in their forums

so just stick to auto wit that car
