Default ??how much does this forum cost you??

i know there have been threads asking how much people spend on their cars

but my question is along different lines

how many people have spent money only because they hang around this site too much

all i know is that even though i started out with a beautiful car...all the modding and pictures on this site make you want more and more and more

how many people never intended to mod...but were convinced by this site?

just curious (at least theres free membership )

Hey darking350,

Where did you get that borla exhaust for $500? It's the true dual exhaust, right? Thats a sweet price.

if this forum didn't exist, i would most likely be duped into buying cheapo ghetto-rigged parts for my Z, just because I didn't know any better.

I agree with Themyst. This site has its temptations but w/o it, I would have done some bad mods to my baby. This site shows u whats good and whats iffy on ur car.

That's something I always found cool about this site. There are a few people here who have done fairly extensive mods to their cars who probably never would have if they weren't members here. The most obvious example to me is Bonz. His other car is a Dodge Stealth, of which I'm sure plenty of mods were designed for, seeing as it's twin car is the 3000GT. Now, I don't think he's ever done anything to that car, and if I remember right, he was a mod neophyte when I first met him. Now, he's got a Procharged Z and a thousand coats of Zaino! Good job!

You're exactly right Rouxeny! When I got the Stealth in 92 the internet was in its infancy and I didn't even own a computer until 95. I never modded the Stealth since I didn't know any better. If boards like this existed in 92 my Stealth might have been one of those 500+HP monsters!

This board and it's offshoot boards have dramatically changed me. I would hardly change the oil in one of my cars before and now here I am installing CAIs and computers and fuel pumps (a replacement on my Stealth) etc.

The biggest impact of the boards has been (as you said) ZAINO!!!
I'm hoping to get two more layers on this weekend (if the ER's are slow since I'm on call for the next four days) and throw my car cover on and put the Z to sleep for the winter.

Have a great holiday everyone!!!

The Doc.

It's probably not too late to make your Stealth a 500 hp monster!

Good luck with call, my christmas present was...a GSW to the groin!
