Default 2003 350z,

I am sorry about this, but I am looking into getting a 2003 350Z 6 speed manual with 91,000 miles and so I have been lurking around trying to absorb as much information as possible before I go to look at the car next week, but why are the forums backwards when im logged in but right when im a guest? as in the newest posts appear on page one and the old posts being on the last page? It gets a little irritating reading bottom to top on the forums also, one other question that I really have not been able to answer with the search button... how much life does this car have left in it to be realistic, as in... before im going to have to rebuild the transmission engine, rearend, suspension ect. if the car was taken care of and maintained correctly. I am a mechanic so I should be about to tell if the car was abused too badly or taken care of.
I apologize if this is in the wrong place.

i find the older 350z's have issues with dinosaurs hidding under the car in the tight little nooks and cranny's so make sure you keep an eye out for those.

im sure other memeber will agree once you see the dinosaurs sell it asap

Sometimes things around here are ***-backwards.

You do have user settings you can change.

Just use the search function to find what you want and keep searching.

You're a mechanic?

Transmission depends on the prior drivers, if you had someone who slam shifter it , it may need syncros replaced. The rear end, my pinion bearing gave way at 125k miles with heavy track abuse, your results will very. Suspension, shocks will be troast if they have not been replaced, the LCA bushings will probably be destroyed or close, and same with the compression arm bushings. The other main problem area that may need to be addressed is the rear diff mounting bushing. It is fluid filled and rarely makes it 60k miles. Easy swap for an aftermarket bushing. The engine may burn some oil, mine has 150k on it now and burns 1 quart every 3k , when i bought the car (37k on it) it burned 1 quart every 5k. Some are better, some are worse.

The cars have their little quirks and problems, but for the most part will easily go 200k without a major overhaul.
