Default Parking FTL; Are you f(#$* kidding me?!

Soo. . .
I purchased my car on the 25th. . . the 29th at 1030 PM, I drive my happy butt to work. . .

It was raining, so the garage was open for employees to use, I used the EMPLOYEE lot instead of the parking garage at work this day to avoid my car getting dinged. . .

Well. . . I leave work at 0700 in the morning only to find the most irritating and irrational freaking thing I have ever seen this early in the morning. . .

WTFOMGBBQ

What else CAN you expect I suppose. . .

The dude just left it like that, disappeared to continue his day. .

See photo example 1 and 2 below

+1

I would confront him regardless. Just one more reason to park as far away as possible, that's if you can.

I feel for you...
Hard to tell from the pic any damage??
A clear bra is not gonna stop all damage.
Especially dents...
Lesson learned, don't pull all the way into a
a parking space.Always give 2-3 ft in front.
Also, the Z is a short car.Leave the rear of the car
visible to oncoming cars looking for a parking space.
Some joker in a hurry may "see" a open space
and run into the back of your car.
You are experiencing "new car owner paranoia".
We all have suffered this malady. When you get a new ride,
you will note EVERY speck, scratch even if the naked eye
cannot see it.Pretty soon, you will come to the reality that
if you drive your car,its gonna get some nicks.
I've been there bud.I'm still very careful where I park.
You cannot depend on others to be responsible!

good thing insurance covered the damage. the d-bag's plate # is reflected there in case you didn't notice.

I completely agree, I would find out who that is and confront him/her. Inspect for damages, and make him pay for it, you have the pictures.

I don't understand what goes on in people's heads...they must be that ignorant and trapped in their own personal bubble where they are the only ones in existence.

If the person that did this is willing to just leave the car like that, then they must be willing to pay for the damages, I'd milk it.

There is no excuse for that a**hole to park that way.

One night recently I went for dinner and parked on a side lot with hardly any cars. Plenty of parking spaces. I come out from dinner and someone parked directly next to me. With dozen's of empty spaces they park immediately next to me. No damage though.

I agree however the truck is way over the line, physically, look at the pic...

Its like the guy did it on purpose or was rushing not paying attention.

or

maybe it was VERY close, then when he put it in park it touched, either way, way to close.

Something like this would come handy.

http://www.amazon.com/ResQMe-Keychai...1565814&sr=8-4

Calmly walk around the SUV and shatter all windows.

I keed, but that's pretty ****ed up. At least back up a few inches and pretend nothing happened.

no excuse for doing that, get ready for more or purchase one of these

http://www.carcapsule.com/

my girlfriends jeep grand Cherokee was parked when a lady trying to park next to her hit the corner of the rear bumper, she then proceeded to keep pulling forward ripping off the entire rear bumper until she was straight in her spot. never once did she put the car in reverse to try and park with out hitting my girls car. she comes inside to announce that she just hit her car and states "i dont know what you want to do about this but im meeting people for lunch and i dont have time to deal with this."
my face after hearing that trash come out of her mouth.

some people just suck
