I didn't want to start a new thread for the same question you think it's totaled, pictures attached. (there is damage to the passenger side fender but I didn't take picture of it.)

I would guess so. Either way I wouldn't want that repaired and given back to me.

Oh I don't want it, I want it totaled. I already bought a G37xS and was trading the Z, the night before I accepted delivery (Tuesday), I lost control on an oil patch or something, did a 180, slid like 900 feet and knocked over a utility pole. So now I get $0 for trade in and hope it gets totaled.

No joke, I wasn't driving fast at all, I baby my Z (it's why I questioned why I had one). There was a dip in the road right at a curve and it had been raining all day. I wasn't going over 35 and the speed limit is 35. The gentleman who owned the house next to the light pole/fence said that the light pole has been knocked over 3 times in 2 years, his fence has been replace twice and someone hit his house, it has something to do with the dip/curve in the road. I wasn't speeding or driving spiritedly, I just heard my exhaust scream as I lost all traction, tried to correct, couldn't so I just held on.

Really the airbag deployment will be about the biggest hitter. Then you have all of the other damage, looks like it got to the strut towers, if that's the case I would say definitely.
Also if it did tweak the strut towers you wouldn't want it back especially with how they eat tires when all is good.
On the rear quarter wreck, I would say that one's done too, rear quarter is usually major structural damage and as bad as yours looks i would say it is warped all the way to the doors.
Glad that you are ok, cars can be replaced, people cant.

If the accident happened at a known high accident location (HAL), and you can establish that by getting a HAL Report on that stretch of roadway from the State Patrol and/or the State DOT, then I would hire an attorney who specializes in tort claims and sue the pants off whatever city/county/state agency is in charge of that stretch of roadway.
You'll probably have to file a Risk claim with the agency first, and they'll probably deny it.
At that point, you can file a suit, and if you can establish that responsible agency hasn't done anything to rectify the HAL over the course of several years, then it's slam-dunk. They will more than likely settle out of court and you'll probably end up $5-figures richer after attorney fees. Ask the neighbor you spoke with if he'd be willing to testify via an affidavit that it's a high accident location and file a public records request with the utility for the number of times the pole has been replaced and file a public records request with the agency responsible for that road (city/county/state) for all internal communications over a 10 year time frame relating to that stretch of roadway.
I deal with this stuff all the time. You have a 90% chance of settling for $$$$$ on something like this. I've seen cases like this settle for $50-$80K. It's all about doing your homework and making the right public disclosure requests with the right agencies and knowing what to look for.

We should have a project building zombie Zs .. Also sorry for your lost but it does look totaled as insurance goes by book value of your car vs the damage done and cost to repair from what I can tell your car is done
