There isn't a fork/pivot action..it's a hydrolic slave cyl that presses against the center of the Pressure plate diaphram to release. I had click sound/feel on the PEDAL.
Used white lithium spray way up above the pedal spring. No more clicking.

I have an '08 with around 32k miles on it. I don't drag race or ride the clutch and I've NEVER had a problem with the car itself. My only complaint is the quart of oil it eats in the first 1500 miles after an oil change... Synthetic aint cheap these days!

Only after the oil change? You mean consumption then *slows down* after 1500 mi? I just changed oil on my 08 2K mi ago and it's just 2mm below the full line now. I think I used around 1/2 Qt in 6K mi at last oil change (48K mi).

Usually once I get an oil change, it runs down about a quart (maybe a little less) within the first 1200-1500 miles after the change. But I rarely drive it, and so I get oil changes around every 3k miles (synthetic) due to the "so many months till you should just change it" idea... The guy at the shop I get it changed at has an '04 and says his eats some oil as well, just not that much

I use the Mobil 1 10w/30 extended performance in my '08, and change it at 5K intervals. I usually have to add 1/2 quart at around the 3K mark (it's at just over 48K miles now).

My wife's '07 Acura TL Type S takes the 5w/20, and uses just about the same amount (with just about 36K miles). No leaks or drips on the garage floor from either car, so it's definitely getting burned off.

I may have to try some of the extended performance to see if it'll work a little better. It won't be for another 9 months or so till I go home again where it's being stored, but I'll definitely have to try that instead
