Default Basic mods to make car more fun?

So I was just wondering if you guys could give me tips on some easy to do mods I could do to my Z. Maybe like some headers (don't know which ones), an intake, maybe a stiffer suspension, etc. just stuff maybe to make the car more fun or more reliable or anything.

Oh and also I've noticed when I floor it, my pedal sometimes sinks to the floor and stays there. So would you guys recommend upgrading the clutch or changing the flywheel?

Thanks for your help

Oh yea, unfortunately i don't have like $5k to drop on a turbo so I guess stuff that's a good bang for the buck

Is your Z stock? I would get wider tires with a square setup to get rid of that understeer.

You should probably fix your car before you upgrade it.

Do some research, you've got a lot to learn.

Header - don't waste your time and money.
Intake - sure, don't expect a lot of power though.
Stiffer suspension - how would that be fun?

Pedal sticks to floor - sounds like the clutch slave cylinder problem. Again, do your research.

A turbo done right will cost you more like $20K, not 5K.

Well,what does "more fun"mean?
Interested in performance?looks?
From the several areas you mentioned, sounds like performance.
First, get your car in proper running order. You want to start with
a clean slate.Clutch problem?Get it fixed.
After that, the most important thing is being realistic.
What can you spend? We all do the dream'in.But,what bucks do you have to
do some doin?
You can make your care "more responsive" for decent dollars.
If you are looking for any pin your back in the seat-smokin tires,
your budget probably won't fill the bill.
Don't know the specs on your Z.Year, model?Sounds all stock. The traditional road most guys take is a CAI,exhaust system and a spacer(HE engine)as some first steps.
Headers are a waste of money unless you are going FI and other serious stuff.
Suspension(lowering)is popular.What wheels&tires are you running?Stock.
Myself,I'm more from the design end.New wheels&tires will really change the look of your car.Depending what you now have,it will ride and handle better.

Bottom line, you can make it all happen if you have the funds.
Like alot of us,it will be fun,an addiction and clean out your wallet!
Go for it.

Fix the issues you have and it will be more fun. Used wheels and used suspension components in the market place is a good place to start.

I have an 06 enthusiast. Apart from the nismo exhaust it's all stock. Stock tires, stock engine no intake no FI mods or anything. No brembos. Yea I just want a more responsive feel and anything in that nature

Hey man,

I suggest picking up a Motordyne Mrev2 and Spacer. Don't waste your money on a CAI as the 06 air box is quite efficient. Other suggestions would be HFC and XYZ pipe followed by an UpRev tune.

Good luck.
