Because of the new laws passed with the bank bailout what they did to you was against the law. With that said, you are lucky it worked out in your favor 16,500 is too much for a '03 base. I can see how you wanted the car so bad, I fell in love with my car when I started it up for a test drive. Check around next time you'll get a much better deal.

That's whats funny....I was under the impression I did own it based off the contract I signed. I didn't take it back becuase I couldn't afford it, I took it back because of all the S**T that was pulled on me by the dealer.

The Purchase price was only 11,5K not the 16,5K. It had a stage 2 clutch, Injen intake, custom system, and a few other things.

Guys, read the story. The Z price was $11,500. I was upside down $2500 in my honda, purchased a $1,200 warranty, then you have taxes and all that other fun stuff. I new the final price was well above what the car was worth but was ok with that becuase I was planning on paying more each month for it and was going to have it for a long time.

Would you like to rethink that statement? Think about it...you didn't *own it*, the bank did.

Bottom line..you added 14K in debt for a 9yr old car pushing 100K mi. What was interest on the loan and what MONTHLY payments were you looking at?

It wasn't the numbers that were the problem and some other banks would finace it the way we had it, i was just so upset with what he did i just said nevermind.

I think i had already wasted half the rear tires and got her up to 135 in 5th.
Sounds like things worked out for the best.

At that price, it was a rip off.

I hope you were not driving like that on any public road. Im sure your family would be upset if something happened to you.

If it was on a track.... well than that sounds like fun

Im sorry to hear that I got my 03 touring with tein flexs for 9 flat! Craigs list works wonders if you know what to look for(this forum helped me a ton thats why I registered. These people know there stuff!) So consider your self saved and as having a family it just wasnt practical tbh. Also I dont see why you cant just stick around and chill if a 350 is pricey get a 300zx!

If you have a family, you shouldn't have bought this car seeing how you were planning to buy another car even though you're financing the Z. This was not well thought out, and your learning from it.. we've all made mistakes, you're just lucky that it turned out better for you.
