Meh I just drive it during the winter. Pretty mild winters as of late.

Good Blizzaks on stockers and I get a good wash that has a strong underbody spray to rinse off the salt every week.

Only those that live it in the north really understand. Why not enjoy it year around. I have M&S rated tires and keep it washed all winter with extra spraying of the under carriage.

Mine is a daily driver 8-9 months out of the year and my job requires lots of driving. I kind of wanted to give it a break. It was either buy stocks and winter tires or buy a beater. Chose the latter. It's not like I am going to lose any money either this way if I plan to sell it

Reminds me of the guy with the R8 who drives it to the mountain for boarding, roof rack and all.

I've been storing Z cars since 1995. I'm just used to it now. It's like a rite of passage. Every year, I put her away with some TLC and then forget about most of it. Then in the spring, I start getting the itch when the weather gets better. It's so fun to bring the Z out and start getting her ready for the driving season.

When disconnecting the battery and taking it out, there wont be any issues with the alarm, right?

I drive my Z 24/7. Winter tires on stock wheels do fine. If my car was lowered, I'd have concerns. But at stock height, the Z drives well, just like any other car. And considering it's worth about 8k at this point, having "never winter driven" in a car sale ad, won't do me much. Then again, I have already decided I am driving this car into the ground.

Along with no rust. Crazy when you see some of the vehicles up there and how much rust has eaten the car away.
