Hey Everybody,
I'm new to the whole 350/370z scene as I currently own a 328i coupe. I have gotten bored of my car and I am looking into purchasing either a 350z or a 370z. I just wanted to ask you guys if you still enjoy your cars after a long time of owning them becuase I have owned my car for only 10 months and I dont want to drive it anymore.
Thanks!

You will find that many 350Z owners still have their cars after years and years
I'm not planning on changing cars anytime soon, though I changed from a 350Z to another 350Z before

Welcome bruddah! I tell you what man. My buddy bought a C6 Corvette right after I got my 350Z Roadster and I drove that Vette a lot. I still take his car when I drop my car off at his dealership for service. And whenever I drive that Corvette, I sooo miss my Z! It's a great car to begin with. Set it up right and it's damn fun!

10 years in June and 130,000 miles. Next up will a 370 but the 350 is a keeper for life. First car I really enjoyed every mile with.

welcome to the dark side lol jk but if you are looking to get a 350z i would recommend a HR 350z (07/08 models) but i would really push you to get a NISMO they are sexy with out a doubt...if you dont find a nismo or hr then i would say 370z...reason why i say 350z first over 370z is because i like the 350z over 370z body styling

I agree with that. The 370 is faster and improved in some ways but I would still take a 350 over it. I feel the 350 will age better and it still looks like a brand new car even though it's been around for about 10 years now. Welcome!

I purchased a new 350z in 2003 when the z car was “re-released” by Nissan. 10 years later I still have this car, and love it. I planned to upgrade to the 370Z but decided against this after seeing the new body style. I like the 350Z body much better than the 370Z’s look.

The Z handles exceptionally well (it’s a “go cart”) and is very economical. You get great value with this car.

One comparison between your 328i and the 350/370 Z that you will miss with your BMW is cabin noise. Your 328i is quiet; the Z is very noisy (in fact it’s the noisiest performance car I have been in). You can correct this problem by adding sound deadening. A good time to do this is when upgrading the Z's A/V system.

I am glad I am not the only crazy one. I definitely prefer the 350 over the 370 body style.

Try going from a 1996 Camaro to a 350Z, the road noise in the Z is extremely quiet compared to a Camaro.

Haha, thanks for the feedback everyone! I dont mind cabin noise as I prefer a sporty vehicle over a luxury vehicle. I'm scared to buy a 370z because the insurance will be way to expensive. I feel that a 2005-2006 350z would be a good match for me. I was thinking about getting an S2k but my friends said that those cars arent torquey and they snap easily when drifting corners. This might be a stupid question but how do you guys feel about the g35 coupes? How does the Z compare to it. What are some pros and cons for both vehicles.
Thanks!

^^ The G35 coupe is a great car. It’s nearly identical with a 350Z (same engine, transmission, differential) except it has a slightly longer wheelbase to accommodate the rear seats. The G35 has more “luxury,” including factory sound deadening and more comfortable seats.

e92, I dont recommend it at all. The car lags unless you drive in sport mode. It gets terrible mpg, overall not a fun car.

I've owned the Zs for about 8 years now. 2 with an '05 and 6 with an '07.
Jefus I love these cars. It's all about personal preference. I'm partial to anything Nissan anyways.
