jada toys has a contract with Veilside. The hot wheels tuner, should not be Veilside as Hot Wheels does not have a contract with Veilside. Tooling for these toys is very expensive, so you can't have various styles. It may also break down to contract exclusivity agreements. Obviously the more eye candy there is, that catches your eye, the more sales potential it has. So it breaks down to what will make the toy company the most money.

Man I would buy one in a heartbeat but i'm not a big fan of the Veilside Version 3 kits. Nothing against having a model 350z with that kit, it's just the V3 takes away so much of the Z's original lines. You wouldn't be able to tell what kind of car it was if you've never seen the kit on a real z before.

What's nice are the Nismo resin kits someone built for all the 1:24 scale tamiya 350z kits. It even comes with the spoiler and the parts attach to the car exactly how the real kit does. They're selling em on Ebay so if you have a Tamiya kit you should check it out.

Now I need to write a letter to Jada Toys suggesting other versions for the Z. The 350z is the biggest thing in the toy market right now. I can't think of any other car that is scale produced so extensively by almost every car toy company. It wouldn't hurt Jada to make a variation of the Z.

I'm getting both. You can always customize them.

Most of the Z toys i see are modded like hell. I hardly see stock ones.

Not true. Most of the diecast cars are in stock form. Just that the modded ones stand out more.

You'll be surprised what Walmart will randomly carry these days. But most likely, you find these at Hobby People and Toys R Us.
