how many z owners are pious and think they are the **** because they own a z? i own a 03 350Z and i am very grateful to have it. i loved my rx8 more because it fit me better(small, different/unique) but i am still very grateful to own such a car. that being said, i have drivin many cars better than my z so i know its not the fastest or the best on the road, which pisses me off when Z owners are talking so much **** thinking they are better than everyone else. no matter what you have there is always something better. im modest about my car, i love it a lot but its not the only thing that comes out of my mouth.

first off its general discussion so i just want to have a friendly discussion, and second my point is has anyone else met people like that or is it just the white people in maine who are douchebags?

 

I think there is certain car guy not necessarily z's. some I run across are Honda and mustang guy. There gonna be some douches.

 

Probably the area man. I get waves every once in a while & actually got into a convoy on my way home last weekend with a couple Z's. We all just kept up with each other & chucked a deuce when we went our separate ways.

 

Its mostly the new Z owners with that concept. The prices have come down a lot especially on used ones with alot of miles leading to alot of ignorant people and kids picking them up. Most of the Z owners on here are quite the opposite of that. Anybody who has had their Z for a little while knows its not anywhere near the fastest car out there. Dont get me wrong I love my Z and it is the nicest car i have ever personally owned but i dont walk around or act stuck up because i own one.

Now on the other hand if i owned a GTR .....

you guys are right and i know its not all z owners and this site is proof but i have met 5 owners in maine the only nice one was an old guy with a blue roadster and we actually had a nice conversation but the rest are around their 20's and one of them today was saying because i never had my car "shut off" i shouldnt even own a z. i have my crazy moments but i dont want to risk my life or my z by going 157 for no reason. we own very nice and respectable cars but i hate where its going. one of the best parts of my 8 was i was one of 3 people in maine with one and the other 2 looked nice clean and stock.

oh and being young is no excuse for douchebaggary im 20 years old and i have never acted like a big shot. one thing i will never forget was one night with my rx8 me and a random cts got into a race we flew by a state trooper going 125+ we got away and pulled next to each other in a hookah bar parking lot and just chilled there smoking hookah and laughing untill it was safe to go home. the cts couldve ditched me sooo easily but stayed a car length ahead and let me keep up. i love friendly races like that. there is no need for "my car is better than yours" because its not true.

 

There are dooshes in every car model. Now that the z is affordable to kids almost everywhere, there are going to be more.

 

there is always ppl like that. some ppl slap on some wheels, chrome accent stripes(not kidding) and think his car is the **** while all other Z's suck.

M-Fest this weekend in Vegas, i will meet some of the worst people.

 

I guess I may have been that way back in '03 when I bought my first Z and it was new to everyone. OP- if you liked, excuse me, loved the RX8 so much more than the Z, why the change?

 

i dont recall ever calling my z fast so please dont be stupid and read before you post. and yeah i know you guys are right there are dbags everywhere im just wondering if anyone else has met zbags? and blue i loved my rx8 but sadly some lady on the phone thought her call was more important than my car so it got totalled and honestly i know it sounds stupid but i loved it too much to replace with another rx8 so i got the next best thing IMO. on paper the z is better but to me, especially being my first car and working for 3 years to buy it i will forever love my 8, but thats beside the point. i love my z and i would hate for it to get a bad name.
