How many amps does a 2008 350z use total during the summer.

Don't know that you'll ever get a definitive answer to that. Consider all the variables: lights, a/c, cooling fans, wipers, sound system, etc. The total is hard to calculate without knowing the current draw of each of those systems.

I really hope your not serious, but we all have the same 115A amps, and they use they same exact power during the summer as they would in the winter.

The amps drawn from the electrical system will vary all the time, for exactly the reasons I mentioned above. I don't think the OP was asking what the max alternator output is, he's perhaps trying to get an idea of what's left over (maybe for a big audio system?).

ok well seeing as how we have a 115A alternator, i think he will be more than ok (moms Audi S4 has like a 90A alternator and she has way more power components than us)

Jl audio 300/2 wired down to 2ohm load.

Because that is extra components your car didn't expect to run, as in it didn't come stock, dimming lights aren't anything bad. Grab a small kinetic battery if the lights bother you that much.

Check your connections and add a few extra grounding points with some thicker gauge wire. If that is the extent of your system your lights shouldn't really dim badly - as stuartc323 stated the z alternator is a pretty good size for an oem unit.

do you think it could be the ground i took the car in bestbuy to have the stuff installed. i told the guy to install the amp where the stock sub goes into and he put the ground inside the area as well but i am not sure if it is a good enough place.

dimming lights is a big thing! it means that your pulling more aps than the car an produce so it steals from any available source (lights, sensors, ecu.) get yourself a cap and the dimming will go away. a cap helps out to give the amp the extra power that the normal electrical system can't handle.

That is a **** ground! Bring it back to Best Buy and tell them to remove the paint in that spot for a better connection.
