I would just take the engine and suspension, but front and rear bumper changed with the original z line. I think the car is stretched too long, it really looks strange. Also, that ugly vent on the rear qrtrs. It should be removed (must be for experiment purposes ... to ventilate the ??).
The skirts also look awkward.
I just don't understand how this new car can compete with corvette in the beauty department?

Because they want to make profit. They rebrand parts and sell them for higher prices because they have NISMO printed on them.
My question for you, why did you resurrect this thread?

If I'm not mistaken, this long-nosed version of the Z was developed with the sole intention of meeting certain qualifications in some racing circuit. I don't remember the whoel story but they had to make a certain amount of this vehicle to qualify. I guess they are keeping it that way with the 65k price tag, meaning they don't plan to sell too many but just enough to meet criteria's. I'll post the article if I can remember where I found it. Might be a Super Street or Sport Compact Car.
This car looks like the Fabulous JDM kit. I could imagine how tough it would be to get up and down certain inclines.

I doubt you can. You can get the wing from performance nissan for 1300 or so.
You can find the seats for about a couple of grand.
The sideskirts can be had from performance or any nismo dealer.
Same for the wheels.
The parts you wont likely find is the front bumper and rear bumper.
That car = off the hook for sure though.

Taz, C-West is making their own version of the bodykit, which they are using on their Super Taikyu series racecar. Go to C-West website (I think it is c-west.co.jp) to see pictures, look under motorsports or racing.
Personally I love the Nismo car. Its not for everyone, but then again they didnt make it to sell a huge number. The car is a homologation special, made strictly to produce a limited number of production vehichles in order to be able to race the JGTC 500 Z with the same body. The long nose and extended tail not only make the racecar more aerodynamic but they also create a lot of downforce.
As for the claimed engine output. Nismo is being conservative, produces a lot more than 300hp with those mods....
