About a week ago I was presented with a deal I couldn't refuse when I found an 06 SRT8 Grand Cherokee at a local dealer that was in pristine condition.
So I just wanna say thanks to all the help from everyone I got here and maybe one day I will own another one!![Smilie](https://my350z.com/forum/images/smilies/smile.gif)
Here's the Jeep on the day I got her...

As of right now I am not sure. It has a Corsa 3in catback and a Mopar cool air intake. I have always said I wouldn't buy a modded car but I was presented with full service records and it's only intake and exhaust (both of which I would have done anyway so it saved me about $1800 instantly).
Right now I just plan to drive it and get used to it before I make any plans... it's a whole lot more power than I am used it. For a 4700lb brick it's stupid quick.

Very nice, same color as my Grand Cherokee. I don't think you can tow with it.

Congrats. I have an 08 GC SRT8, mines black. Some minor mods on it. Its stupid fast, so be careful. Its also terrible in the snow and rain, if snow applies to you. Tranny is fine, fuel and tires are what to watch out for. Check cherokeesrt8.com for all your answers.

Nice car but I don't see the point of getting an suv which is supposed to be able to tow things, be good in snow or off roading but it's not because it's trying to imitate a sports car. It's the same problems with the range rover sports and bmw X5M cars. I still like it though.

A manual would be fun but where I had back surgery in 2010 at the age of 29 pushing in a clutch everyday was starting to become a hassle. After work my back hurts enough and to get in a car that's on the ground plus work a clutch was getting old. I guess things change as you age.

Shame you've had to let go of your Z but in your circumstances it sounds like you've made the right decision. Good luck with it.

I bet your z was more fun though. And quicker around a track which suvs seem to have a hard time. You'll be back in a z or some other sports car in a year or two. Once you go sports car your gonna need a wheel chair from the rough suspension and lack of room when trying to have sex with a chick in it lol. Oddly enough, you know you miss it and will be back haha
