Sometimes but I dont think im at the same extreme as you. I find myself going fast sometimes like 80 on the highway (65mph zone). Or back roads i do 60 in a 45. Those are my cruising speeds but I do find days when i want to "play around" and will do 100 my whole way home on the back roads. I try to contain myself except when im playing, I try to relieve my need for speed on those days.

Is this a brag about your dad keeping you from getting your car impounded? 45 usually equals city streets around here. If I'm speeding its highways/freeways.

^ This. OP's actions are pretty reckless and immature. If you ask me, the cop should have hauled your *** in.

Children with cars out of their league.

ya hes young, oh well

I drove like a dipshit from 16 - 18 and if I had a Z instead of a slow dc2 I'd probably be dead

My first time getting pulled over was doing 78 in a 45 construction zone and the cop let me off with a warning stating I must be having a tough week cause I had gator tags on my car and we just lost to the noles. He was a nole...

haha, good guy though. I quit being a dipshit (which is what you are right now btw) around 20 and have been smooth sailing for 9 years now.

Can you think of any reason that might be? Maybe they put 45mph zones in certain areas where they expect, perhaps, pedestrians to be.

Consider yourself lucky and slow down. If you want to kill yourself, go for it, but don't be a piece of sh*t that kills someone else just because you don't know how to drive.

90 on a local street...

What lesson did you learn? You got away with it.

In order to learn a lesson in this case you need to suffer consequences, such as arrest, impound, hefty fines, insurance dropping you, etc.

You got a slap on the wrist and I can bet you already went that fast again.

How old are you?

Since you are in Long Island I think you should hit up the AutoX events at Nassau Coliseum. It will get rid of the craving for speed on the streets.

I have gone to almost every SOLO event at Nassau for the past 1 1/2 years and I think it dramatically slowed me down on the roads.

LOL, love how people sit here bashing someone for getting off with a warning for speeding meanwhile they did not buy a Z to cruise below the speed limit... It happens, don't act all high and mighty like tickets and speeding are above you.

I don't have any speeding tickets, but I do find myself going over speed limit time and time again not overly fast but the smooth ride is very misleading.

Your father sucks at parenting and I don't even have a kid. I would've of told them to let you stay the night in jail for being a reckless *****.

damn, I'm sure in Canada(or Ontario at least) that would have been a charge for street racing or stunt driving: an automatic car impound and license suspension

Its people like this that just **** me off so much, the guy was actually lucky the cop was there bc my dad and I were ready to break this guys face in. We know the guy who runs a body shop so hopefully tmrw I will have some good news that they can fix everything, hopefully just cosmetic damage. New fender, front bumber, maybe a door, a new rim, and than interior parts bc of the 2 airbags. Ill keep you guys updated.

P.S. - The car wouldnt start but my Uncle said that might just be a saftey thing bc the airbags went off... Anyone have any insight on this?
THIS IS YOU?!?!? You're a tool.

You say the other guy was lying, yet you say you go double the limit all the time in this thread. Chances are, you caused the accident and daddy stuck up for you then too.
