Cars are designed now to be safe and efficient at higher speeds yet most speed limits haven't been adjusted for that. Some speed limits are arguably arbitrary.
Im not going to pay some cop, and pay more to my insurance company just because I broke some archaic rule.
All that being said, I'm not for abolishing speed limits. But I will always fight a ticket regardless of whether I'm guilty or not.

Too immature to take responsibility? I don't think so.

IDGAF how safe you think your car is. You hit a pedestrian or another car and someone is getting injured/killed at that speed. A speed limit is real arbitrary when a pedestrian is involved, isn't it? Oh, I forgot, you'll be safe in your car so it's all good.
"Pay some cop?" Really? Complete ignorance.
That "me, me" attitude may have worked when you were still suckling your mother's tit, but this is the real world. Grow up and act like an adult.

Hitting a pedestrian at a posted speed limit of 50mph will probably kill them.
There's a difference between speeding and driving recklessly. For example, an attentive speeder is much safer than someone texting (legal in many states) and driving the speed limit.
Im not seeing what part of my argument is warranting your grow up and act like an adult comment. There is nothing more adult that understanding how the judicial system works and yes, using it to your advantage. God bless America.
