I love this forum. I love the immense technical knowledge and walk through's I can find. I love following people's DIY projects. I love the market place and trader score system. I love the foolish immature crap some people post (This is for you OP). I revel in the immense thread of harsh criticisms and silly GIFs. I love the internet gangsta's that sit in their nice suburban middle class home and type hard-*** messages on forums.

It ain't what it used to be, but it sure as hell is entertaining.

Honestly, your best option in California is:
1. Trial by written declaration, plead not guilty and tell your side of the story.
2. You'll probably lose, and be found guilty in this, but it's worth a shot and extends the process. Then if found guilty, submit a trial de novo. This is an appeal that basically says "I want my date in court after all." and they have to give you it. You will be scheduled for a court date, the cop probably forgot about you by now because it took like 3 months for this whole process, and will probably be confused thinking its a clerical error or something since you were already found guilty in the written trial by declaration. So he doesn't show up, and the case is dismissed.

Now stop driving like an ******* 87 in a 50 is a bit excessive. I'm not going to judge though, I was young and dumb once not to many years ago. I was just smart enough to get out of tickets most of the time. People will disagree with me saying to do this, but I really DGAF, it's my opinion on the matter. Exercise your rights, fight the system and don't be a sheep. On the other hand, don't be a tool driving around through school zones like a dick. The whole traffic law system and court system is stupid as hell in this country, and it's all just about making revenue for the state so fight every ticket you can. Burden the system.

You're 5 pages late. We're talking about his 13 year old mail-away Korean bride now.

87 in a 50 and you dumbasses are giving this retard tips on fighting teh ticket??

Let him reap the benefits of a speeding ticket. He couldve lost control, hit a family member of yours and potentially killed a lot of people going almost 40 miles faster than speed limit. I dont even go 87 on a freeway, let alone a city street.

I wish you the worst of luck OP.
