I wasn't talking about the good old days. I enjoy the forum for the knowledge that was posted before I became a member. I also enjoy the harrassment that happens. I didn't have to join in 2004 to read the threads that were posted then.

Flo-Rida, I bought my 2004 used Z straight out cash. I don't like taking on debt when I don't need to. Anyway, my Z was 9 years old and yours was 3 years old. That's great I'm proud of you.

This is what happens when you kick in a positive comment in a flame thread

My point exactly... being that you joined the party a little late, this place has turned to total **** but you wouldn't know anything about it. I'm certainly not proud of you.

Pathetic.
because older generations surely never broke the law and denied it in court...

I'm hoping that was in jest... lets not start talking about generations. This current one is responsible for the pussifing of America.

please elaborate.

I don't like this newer generation but I try to keep in mind the context that surrounds them. People tend to be products of their environment. Unless you're one of the "pick yourself up by the bootstraps" kinda people

I think we're talking more toward the 70s and 80s. I have no issue fighting unjust tickets. But 87 in a 50 zone is justified.

yea i agree with that. Luckily this new generation doesn't even like driving that much. Many aren't even interested in getting their license, much less a car. Ill be happy when most people will be using automated drive. And hopefully that means left lane will finally be passing only.

It's crazy! I know people in their mid-20s who don't have a license and have no interest in getting one.

I'm in the middle of bald prairie/oil land. A 15 minute car ride can take up to an hour with public transportation.

Not defending anyone, but in NYC, especially Brooklyn and Manhattan, if you own a car you better own a beater because after a year there even the nicest BMW are beaters. The law allows you to actually hit the cars in front and behind you to get out of a parallel spot.

LOL thats how it is in Long Beach close to the beach, there is no parking for anyone in that area so bumping is allowed to wiggle out of spots
