I don't understand that logic.. Say for example the wheels spun and the speedo read 30mph, when in reality he was going 10mph...well once his wheels gripped, the speedo would then go back down around the actual speed. How would that have anything to do with the amount of time it took for him to reach 60mph? The only way you can be right is if he's spinning still around 50mph or so and it's reading 60mph on the speedo... But who has all that wheelspin at 60?

you are correct about that... but that only affects 1/4 mile time. not 0-60.

like Phile said wheel spin may increase the speedo at first but it comes down as soon as you grip.

1/4 mile time will be affected because the ECU thinks you have travelled farther and will give you a faster 1/4 mile time than you really did.

BUT.... I had very little wheel spin.

Precisely! Mph, and miles traveled are two differnt things to the ECU since it has no concrete way of observing the true distance traveled

I have a Passport GT-2 timer with all the accelerometers and such, its like a more advanced GTECH. My best 0-60 on a flat surface was a 4.86...I average 5.1-5.3...its a pretty neat little toy. It gives you your 60ft-1/8-1/4-trap. The other night I went out to do a 1/4 run, and I couldnt hook up. It measured me as a 2.3 60ft and it gave me a 13.8 @ 103. I ran 13.7 @ 101 at the track when I was stock...so my times seem feasible with my mods now. I did hit a 2.0 60ft in the cold, and I hit 50 mph in 4.0 and then I missed 3rd, so it didmt read me to 60mph, that would have been a good run. When I go to the track I will compare my times....
