it's for looks. Does not serve any racing function.

I've seen you tube videos on Japanese people driving the Ben sopra gtr on the track. Please elaborate a good reason as to why it's not recommended to drive the 350z on the track with the Ben sopra kit.....

It must be effective if some Japanese guy with the kit drove their car on the track in a video. You can drive your 350z Ben Sopra kit on the track, the question is will it decrease or increase your lap time.

Most of these kits are for aesthetics only. There are specialized companies that will research function in design.

Aeromotion is one company that makes quality wings with tons of research in design, wind tunnel and track testing. Ben Sopra, evidently does not promise any aerodynamic improvements thus the lack of a recommendation.

I will either leave my nismo v3 wing on or buy a new trunk and put an Apr or voltex wing

You're not very intuitive and missed the point. The BS kit is bs on the track, a wing won't fix it. Bulletproof can't recommend it for track use, its a show kit.

I thought when bullet proof automotive said the kit is not recommended for track use. My impression was you cannot drive e it on the track because the kit cannot withstand speeds of up 120 plus?

I guess my question is can I drive my Z with the Ben sopra kit on the track going 120 mph and up with just my nismo v3 wing?

Take it to the track and let us know. It won't just be aerodynamic issues, with the wide fenders and low offset wide wheels, roll center and suspension geometry is going to be all out of wack for track use.

So you're going to spend $13k on a kit that is going to add weight and decrease the overall performance of the vehicle that you intend to use on the track?

LOL

Unless there's a typo, it's $13k without the wing.

Excellent point. Cost critiques aside, why put ANY parts on your Z that add weight and decrease performance?

so i just got off the phone with bulletproof automotive,

they told me that the ben sopra kit isn't very well mounted so if you were to hit a minor bump on the road something can easily rip off. the ben sopra gtr is much more well designed and they had spent more time on that so that kit is capable of track use not the 350z ben sopra kit though......=(

I wanted to buy the ben sopra kit and wrap it in matte or satin black lol and drive around the street with the ridiculous kit and mess with peoples head

then eventually put ls1 with a supercharger lol.

I might just buy the kit and see for myself.

my final goals with my Z is:

Ben Sopra Kit without wing
Matte or Satin Black Vinyl Wrap the car
LS1 - Turbo or supercharged

Then done with the Z.
