The 260Z and 280Z are pretty rare now so I guess eventually when I start getting grey hairs or end up like this guy below I'd be there to say "I told you so" or have a letter attached addressed to Whilteaz2 and Go7Roo7 saying "I told you so".
Except for the Redline z's which are rare. It's very easy to track the specific car, and therefore the owner. It's done frequently... catching stupid people.

It’s amazingly foolish to run from the police. You’re going to be caught. Even if you escape at the moment, how hard can it be tracking down a Redline 350z?
