Default Nissan 350z insurance rates?

I'm about to buy a nissan 350z and i'm wondering how much you guys pay for insurance. I drive a 2002 acura rsx type s right now. So I pay like 40 bucks. And im 17 so that should also come into factor .-.

It's going to be expensive, that's for sure. At your age and with the accident history of the Z33, you should expect a very high premium. There's no way to accurately compare rates unless we live in your area of the country.

+1.

"Feedback & Suggestions for Our Forum" seems pretty precise to me.

It will cost more than it does for your economy car.

IMO having a 350Z is a bad car to purchase at that age. Just keep the RSX until you are older.

Asking this question on this forum is kind of a waste of time. The only way you will get an accurate answer is for you or your parents to ask your insurance agent.

If I had a dime every time someone asked this question I would buy a small island and put the people who ask this question on it and let them sort it out among themselves through cage match stick fighting tournaments.

It depends on a few different factors

- your age
- full or liability coverage
- how much and what kind of driving (highway/city) you will be doing
- driving history
- current coverage (possible discounts for multiple policies)
- the deductible

and probably a few other things that are slipping my mind at the moment. I'm almost 26, i have a clean record (knock on wood), i drive less than 10k miles a year, and i have full coverage with i think a $500 deductible and i pay around $140/month and that's including my renters insurance for my apartment. like a few other people said you will be able to get a quote through your insurance company and it WILL be more than what you are paying currently.

What everyone else said.

Me, I'm over 25, had a minor fender bender last year in my brother's 4Runner(first one since my teens), no speeding tickets for last 5 years. I live in Silicon Valley and my current rate is about $100.00 a month. I have full coverage and I actually increased the property damage and medical above the base comprehensive package since those two items are insane these days.

Being a teen could make your rates extreme or about the same. It really depends on your record. You also get good student discounts and safe driver discounts. If your parents throw you in their package, you get a multicar discount as well. So those things may help you out. Just stay out of trouble and you should be ok.

Please stop giving him serious answers. This thread doesn't deserve serious answers. There's an FAQ section with that question along with literally hundreds of past threads with the exact question for Christ's sake.

Thanks to you and some other people who actually gave me an answer. Unlike them other trolls saying that "it's a waste of time". If it were so much of a waste of time, don't reply? Thanks again.

I'm 20 with no tickets or accidents in MD. Full coverage with a $500 deductible on my policy is $220 a month. Your parents must be so far up the insurance companies butt to get a teenager with a 2 door car a $40 rate. My 4 door accord when I was your age was $120ish on my parents policy and they don't have tickets etc... That was also with all the good student discounts etc...

at 21, before i purchased my baby i was wondering the same thing so i'll give you my experience with insurance rates. I was driving a 99 olds alero coupe before i got my red 03 350z enthusiast edition and was paying 60$ a month getting my insurance through my mothers plan. Since getting my Z with full coverage mind you that plays a big factor in how much you will have to shell out (basically if you own the car or are making payments will determine that), i am at 85$ a month still going through my mothers plan. So i would assume yours would be at LEAST 100$ a month flat seeing as you are not even 18 yet and are a male driving a bomb *** 2 door sports car (Speaking about my car at the moment of course). but yea be ready for at least 100$ a month for insurance and probably double that in gas #Premium

Because every member here is an insurance agent in your state. And insurance websites are so primitive they don't have the ability to plug in your info to see free insurance quotes or anything like that. I think your mom should of swallowed you. That's my advice. Someone should summon Hraves and sort this dude out.
