I called paypal a few days ago. They told me that I can't reverse the transaction. I checked now the Online banking and the amount of money was overbooked (aka finally deducted from the CC) after 3 days, that I sent the money. I checked some online help in this case, and after the money was overbooked, I can't ever deny the transfer at my CC company.

Long story short, you can be sure, I can't do anything with your credit card! Paypal can't do anything either (in my case).

Sent you 1500 gift in good faith you close the PayPal investigation. when the dispute shows resolved on my end I'll send the difference.

More BS. You can't say "in good faith" when you were in the wrong to begin with. It's far to late for "good faith" now.

We have already established that a paypal claim on his end will accomplish nothing due to the fact that he "gifted" you the money. give him the full dollhair amount and call it a day!

OP seems to have been extremely patient with you, i would be at my wits end with you at this point if you were dealing with me directly.

I'm assuming all the risk here, if he follows up and PayPal grants him a refund I'm out twice the money. All you fools get to sit back watch and laugh when its not your money on the line. PayPal can't share the last digits of his card to me so I still can't verify he's legit but I'm losing more money being distracted

I didn't mention I had to give cash to a friend to send the money because of the multiple holds on my account. I could have made him wait till the cases were closed and I wouldn't have to take cash from my pocket. Zoltan will verify funds didn't come from me

They will not issue him a refund for making a claim on something that was gifted to you. This has already been discussed SEVERAL times.

It is normally displayed in payment info had to call up and ask if the card ended in bla Bla bla and they said sorry we can't disclose that to you. Wasn't expecting it to play out like that.
