Default Expected gains

I'm planning on getting the Uprev tune as soon as my exhaust comes in. Realistically what kind of gains can I see with these mods? I don't want to have high hopes then get shot down. 250-260whp too much? I have an 04.

Motordyne 5/16 plenum spacer
Motordyne art pipes
K&N short ram intake w/ heat shield
Act polite flywheel
Centerforce dual friction clutch
Ams lightweight pulleys
Borla exhaust

Depends on the dyno but I've seen mid 250's with those mods (dynojet)

I'm glad you're being realistic about this, Norman. I was expecting you to say close to 300whp. I believe you're hitting the nail on the head with your expectations. If you really want to wake it up, put the 4.08 FD in there.

I'm planning on supercharging it later this year this is just to have a little fun in the mean time. I was considering the 3.9 or 4.0 gears but I'm not too sure how that would go when I do supercharge it.

Your clutch/flywheel/pulleys upgrades will yeild no results on a dyno...at redline any gains due to 'moment of inertia' improvements are gone. A intake, plenum, test pipes, exhaust down in FL (ie at sea level) will give you your 260whp and nothing more. Yes, and thank you for being realistic!

go dyno and let us know where you end up!

if it was me, and it was and is, I wouldnt mess with your gearing...save/spend that money on your FI, if you FI with a 4.xx+ you just wasted 1st gear...you now have a 5speed transmission.

Just expect 240whp. That way when you get more you'll be surprised Lol.

Get a baseline dyno first, then another after the mods on the same dyno. Only way to tell exactly what you have gained. I think you are guessing pretty close though.

Good luck man. Im getting my uprev tuned on my 04, Aug 2nd. Im not expecting anything great. I came from a 99 GST with FP green turbo and all supporting mods. Im expecting to be disappointed from what Im used to. But I want to eventually go forced induction again, so seeing the numbers might be exactly what I need to get the ball rolling.

If you're going FI in the future, don't spend your money on the 4.08.
