Default Need a value estimate

First off, I apologize if this is in the wrong area. It's not a For Sale, just a value estimate question.

I recently made the decision to part ways with my Z after about 4 years or so for a larger car. I'm in need of a large car now due to some things changing in life. I am just beginning the process of searching around and getting quotes but was hoping i could get some opinions, estimates, etc from the forum members.

My Z is a 2007 Carbon Silver Metallic Enthusiast. It currently has just under 85,000 miles. Paint is in good shape minus a few chips in the front bumper and a minor ding on the driver side quarter panel. Body is in good shape with the exception of the minor ding. the mods include:
Pioneer AVIC-910BT head unit
JL 10" Sub and Alpine Amp in hidden enclosure
Sparco R100 Seats, brackets, sliders, etc
XXR Wheels with Nearly new Sumitomo tires (255 front, 275 rear)
KYB SHocks w/ Hotchkis springs done about 7k miles ago
Akebono brakes with stoptech lines and 2 piece front rotors
Nismo S-Tune exhaust
Takeda Stage 2 Intakes with Freshly cleaned filters
Stillen Type 1 rear spoiler
BRC Harness Bar
Sparco 4 point harnesses

I may be missing one or 2 things on the mods, but that should be it. Anyways, i know 95% of those mods will not really help the resale on the car but i was hoping to get some rough ideas from you guys on what i should expect and whether i should trade it in or private sale it.

I did get one quote this weekend from a chevy dealer who, in my mind, was nowhere near the value. They quoted $9500. These guys were also a good $5k higher on the vehicle i was looking at then they should have been(according to 3 other dealers). I was assuming trade in should be atleast $12,000 with private party being a bit higher.

Any input would be greatly appreciated.

thanks guys

Part it out and sell it stock, or it's either paid off or very close, keep it and buy a bigger car. Then you have a weekend play toy.

a dealer is not going to pay you for all the extras you added... like terrasmak part it out and sell the parts, then let them give you the 9500 for it. they will ALWAYS screw you on a trade. quick kbb for miles and your zip showing average trade in 9300-10k, and to sell to individual about 11,600

Mods don't add value.

Part it and put it back to stock.

Always sell private party. I used to sell cars and one time we made $5k on some guys mustang he traded in.

I was thinking of parting it. I can return the brakes to stock and the wheels, but the seats were replaced due to the original falling apart. And of course i didn't keep them.

I'll see what the other 2 trade in companies around here say and if things still aren't where i think they ought to be, i'll probably pull the brakes, rims/tires, and possibly the head unit.

As always, i appreciate the feedback and advice.

mods are a big money loser-
they actually detract from the value of a stock car.

take the 9500

I would never consider buying a modded car. In fact when I was looking I only wanted stock untouched.

What kind of XXR wheels are they?

If you're considering taking those off too.

Only 2 parts i would likely pull are the brakes(maybe), and the wheels (maybe). Brakes will cost me shop time so checking if my buddy has time in his shop to get this done. Always get a better deal from him and i know i can trust him. All depends on what the other dealerships offer me with or without the parts included.

The wheels are 18x8.75 & 18x9.75 XXR 527s in flat black. If the parts are pulled i will start up a sale thread.

Sadly, this has all taught me a valuable lesson on modding. Only doing it when the car is not my only vehicle. Got told today by a dealer that had the seats and suspension been stock, they could have offered me an additional $1k. Thinking about it, it makes sense that they'd have an issue with aftermarket seats/harnesses.

As always, i appreciate all the info, advice, etc. If parts are pulled, i will let those who expressed interest know
