Default Rattling sound after installing new xtd clutch and flywheel

Hi guys and girls,

I just installed a new xtd clutch and flywheel on my 350z (2004) and when I went on a test drive I can hear this rattling sound before and during I engage the clutch in first and second gear.
I hope you can help me figuring out what this could be.

Roger

Flywheel chatter. Very common when you go with a light weight flywheel. Especially with a cheap steel xtd one.

I changed the clutch on my 04 z and I have the same problem. I get a rattling noise for a second or two. what would be the fix to this? My clutch has a one year warranty, do you guys think it would cover it?

Nope. ^ this is how the car is built and designed. Its just a sound, nothing is breaking.

End thread.

Is the flywheel OEM? If not, it rattles... Normal.

Recently had a used tranny and Southbend Clutch + Flywheel combo installed on my 04 z. Is experiencing the same thing as OP described, and it runs fine. You've got nothing to worry about! Though I understand it can be pretty annoying and loud at times
