Declining expectations for My350Z posts
yea...unfortunately, I see this too … I would imagine all cars have this and some chassis such as corvettes, mustangs, STI/WRX, and the BRZ/FRS probably see it worse than the z.
Yea - when someone comes along that has a legit build and isn't a squid I do my best to embrace them and encourage them to start a build thread.

One of my favorite Adam Carolla quotes(I dont recall it exactly) "I dont seek happiness, I seek satisfaction"
But, we've jump the shark at this point ...

1) Owner asks question about car not running right
2) First response is dead on, car would be fixed if advice is taken
3)Second post agrees with first, adds in something not mentioned
4)Next 57 responders have no clue, checking oil, air pressure in tires, and saying their (insert non nissan, turbo, non-VQ engine response that his buddies did the same thing
5) Responder 58 Says WTF!, then gives same advice as poster 1 and 2
6) Responder 59-80 change subject, asking about tire fitment, where did they get the wing, what BOV is that, and telling OP that they need to paint it a different color
7) Conversation changes to Stance, best coilovers, and how cool my Bee-R rev limiter sounds in the middle of a car meet
8) Original 2 responders give up on humanity at this point as does responder 58
9) OP follows advice from everyone else, tire pressure is checked, oil level is good, and buys new suspension for $3800 from Japan parts company, and waits 8 weeks for it to arrive, as its on back order... from the same country the OP is in.
10) 5 weeks later Car is still not running right, OP has spent $17,000 on a full rebuild, only to find a broken ground wire on the harness... And everybody starts asking prices for the partout

No bullsh*t!!!!
I recently got on FB “full time” and not just to do competitive analysis (still do it). Just for kicks, “follow” a few groups including Z car groups.
Good gawd.... i complain about the low S/N ratio here!?? Uhhhhh, no, genius convos here in comparison with FB’s monosyllabic blathering about just about, well, nothing.... very sad state of non-intelligence.

- The part where we mention that the question OP had has been posted countless times before, and answered.
- OP argues that they DID search, but couldn't find anything.
- A link gets posted leading to one of the aforementioned threads where question was asked and answered, proving OP did a very poor job of searching.
- OP gets upset and firmly believes that we are A**holes and are just being disrespectful.
