Blows! How f#%ed up is that! When you walked out did you have the giggle of disbelief? I'd get something cool to offset the bad luck.

[QUOTE=dboyzalter;10658946]I got a torque wrench for like $10 at harbor freight. I wouldn't use it to put together an engine but it works fine for the lug nuts.

A cheap Torque wrench or one that hasn't been recently calibrated is also known as a "Guessin' Stick". Just don't use an impact gun and you'll be fine. Never buy anything at Harbor Freight if accuracy, precision, or complexity is involved. HF does sell a decent Sledge Hammer however.

Its true but I tighten with my breaker bar and go use my guessin stick to get them around 85 ft lbs... I have their $20 saw zall and must say it's worth every penny. And I have their demolition hammer drill that has proven itself very helpful on more then one occasion... I buy their stuff not expecting much and usually im happy with it... When it brakes I just get another. I have good tools too but sometimes when you know your going to be abusing things you would rather use some garbage.

Dang, 1650 per wheel? That seems way over priced. And I'm surprised your Brembo's are still there..
