Default Front End Clunk

I felt some clunking coming from the front driver side of the car... I recently replaced all the front bushings with Whiteline pieces and added Tein coilovers and Kinetix upper A arms, so I took a quick look, saw that everything was tight so assumed it must have been the inner tie rod end...

I might have pulled it apart prematurely, there's no play in the inner tie rod end but the pivot ball moves around without any resistance vs. the new replacement tie rod end I picked up...

I also just noticed I forgot to tighten the 17mm nut on top of the strut mount... maybe that was my clunk? Is there any way I could tighten it without removing the strut/spring?

I'll try to take an impact to it after I put the inner tie rod end back together

I wouldn't hit it with impact... the rod is prob hollow for valving not to mention, you don't want it spinning
