Default New member/owner, need advice. Any help greatly appreciated

Hi guys. I am a new member and my name is Russell. I just recently purchased a used G35 Coupe. I understand G35 and 350Z share alot of common parts, but I do not know if the brakes are among those items....so please forgive me....

I wanted to do some upgrades to my car. I was thinking of upgrading the brakes but my budget is a bit limited right now so I cant get brembos or anything expensive....

I was looking on eBay and I came across these...

http://www.ebay.com/itm/301908760735?item=301908760735&viewitem=&vxp=mtr
What do you guys think? They aren't branded but I think they look okay. Does it look sketchy? Apparently Taiwan is famous for making brake kits. Maybe this is an OEM?

Any feedback would be appreciated.

THAT. IS. NOT. OEM.

For about $500 more you can get GENUINE Nissan/Akebono 355mm 4/2 pot brakes conversion.

FRONT AND REAR.

Don't waste your time, money and ability to stop on unknown J-U-N-K.

If I were you, I would save up and stick to the name-brands... or just stay stock and upgrade the rotors/brake pads.

If it appears to be "too good to be true," then it probably is.

Other then questionable quality, replacement parts would be my #1 concern.

If you dont plan on tracking the car, there's no need for a big brake upgrade. Just stya stock and upgrade the pads and rotors

Your better off getting "new" rebuilt calipers from a local auto parts store then getting pretty much anything from ebay...

You pay for junk your going to get junk, somebody paid big money for a decent car back in whenever you're car was built and rebuilt originals work just fine...

But paint them red for extra swag points.

Since your budget is limited, stay stock or save up in order to get quality brakes.

Yeah, I agree with what everyone else is saying. Brakes aren't really something you want to cheap out on. You could potentially kill yourself or total your car with some crap brakes. I'd either save up for some reputable after-markets or just replace with OEM. The red looks sick but if you find ones that aren't red you can always paint them, for the extra "swag points." I bought some high temp paint from a local auto store and painted mine. Cost me maybe $20 for 2 cans of paint and some painters tape. Took me a few hours but well worth it aesthetically.
