Default Salvage Nismo

Hey guys I have been looking into buying a nismo. Now, I cannot spend 15k+ for a clean title one. So i was looking into auctions and found these. Black one would need a new hatch, wing, right fender, rear bumper, tailights, crash bar and mud guards. Silver one is a bit more complicated specially in the front, it looks like it needs a lot more than the black one. What do you guys think it would cost in parts/labor let alone the price of the car. Just need ideas on how much it would cost to repair both. Thanks yall!

No one one can tell you from those pics what each car will need in terms of repairs. If you can't afford what you want, buying a salvage title wreck is never the solution. Maybe you can afford a nice '07 or '08 non-Nismo Z with a clean title, and hopefully avoid wrecking it yourself?

Unless you are going to rebuild it yourself you should pass. Based on your asking random strangers what it will cost I am assuming you don't know how to do it. A quality rebuild will cost more than a clean title example is worth hence the reason its totaled.

Depends how cheap you could get that thing for in my opinion. I would be hesitant to try and reconstruct the rear unless you plan on making it a drift car

OK, reluctantly clicked on the thread title with the words "Salvage" and "Nismo" in the title. Now that I did....oy.

Everyone here is telling you NO for good reason.

Biggest one is that by the time you get either one of those things back on the road, you're into them for the price of a good car to begin with, if not more.

Just to give you a small sample..... the rear wing of a Nismo costs over $2,000...... and if you say, "I saw one on EBay for $200", well, then, you're going to be piecing back together a car with parts that'll make the car worth less than what you pay for it at salvage price.

Please listen to Mic. lol

You will absolutely be in close to, or over teh cost of a clean title Nismo if you tried to repair a salvaged one. STAY AWAY.

jeebus.... i say get the black one and then prepare your butt for a raping when you get the quote to replace that passenger quarter panel.

i dont understand people, cant afford something nice so they will settle for a wrecked one so they think they will have balla status

The silver needs less work than the black one. You obviously have no idea what you're getting into.

I like the solver car, but I also know what I'm doing. I wouldn't build either to be a street car again.
