Default Identify broken aftermarket support?

There is some kind of support on the right side of the engine of my '03 350Z. It's bright pink/red so I'm assuming it an aftermarket part, but it was on the car when I bought it.

The support seems to have broken or at the very least come apart. Could someone help me identify this so I can figure out how to fix or replace it? I don't see any brand names or model number or any other identifying information on it.

That looks like an after market engine damper of some sort and it kinda looks like it just needs to be screwed back on, or just removed.

Its a cheap engine damper from ebay. It snapped due to poor quality, just remove it and you'll be fine.

It's just a piece of rubber inside a tube that separated some dope from his hard-earned money. Remove it, and toss it in the trash where it belongs. The only thing that dampener does is make the car shake a little more when you pop the clutch.

People who think Nissan engineers don't know what they're doing just amaze me.
