Hiya All,

Price:$200 (Includes Instruction, Dinner and Lunch)
Where:Thunderhill (Nor Cal)
ClubZ Track Info Page
Early Bird Registration ends on Feb 23rd. After that the prices raises another 25 dollars. For all your Californians that are getting your registration tax back, or regular income taxes this is a great time to see what your Z can do on the track! (Other cars welcomed as well) A place to drive your car hard without worrying about the authorities!
If you sign up tell them Yuichi sent yah!!
This event is put together by ClubZ and the event has mainly Z's attending the event, but other cars are welcomed, as we usually get G35's,WRX's, Miata's,Evos, Vipers, Hondas, Porsche, Rx-7's you name it!
We get to run out on the track pretty much the whole day so you get a lot of track time. For you first timers you get an instructor to ride a long. For those who are worried about driving their own car, thunderhill has 2 walls and those are the straight aways, so if you go off course your most likely to see dirt
hopefully will zya out there, and please PM me if you have any questions!!

I'm interested
I am in SoCal, but would like to run Thunderhill. I want as much track time as possible. How much time is taken up with off-track instruction?
$200 is a little high, but I guess if you throw in dinner it is worth it.
I am an intermediate driver, and have run at the big track at Willow Springs Raceway, the full circuit at Buttonwillow, and at Streets of Willow (that's a lot of racetracks called "willow" in SoCal LOL).
A little worried about driving that far on my competition tires, but I guess I can live with it.

Hunter,
The split the groups of into 3 groups. A B and C
A= Beginner
B= Intermediate
C=Instructors/Experts
Pretty much the only time we have instructions is before we get out on the track and at Lunch.
Other then that you have an instructor sit in your car while you drive around the track. All the instructors I have had are cool and very laid back. If you don't like a certain instructor you can change every time you go out there.
Thunderhill is a 2 mile course, and last time in the summer I put on about 120-130 miles out on the course so thats a lot of laps.
Also your more then welcome to ride along with the instructors
As for price goes I don't set it, but the night before the event we go to a place Shorty's for all you can eat style place with ribs and all that good stuff.
Lunch is provided the next day, also ClubZ gets a discount rate at the local hotel to help people out on pricing.
Hope to Zya all there!
